Angel Island, the Ellis Island of the West, served as the immigration point for Chinese and Japanese immigrants from the 1910s to the 1940s. The island is the largest in the San Francisco Bay and offers sweeping views of the San Francisco Bay Bridge, San Francisco city skyline and the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge.
